General Manager and Chief Operating Officer
Marshall has been with the Annapolis Symphony for two decades, with a brief hiatus or two. He is a classically-trained clarinetist with a bachelor’s degree in Music with a concentration in Arts Administration from Goucher College. His chief responsibility is to ensure that there is always an orchestra for the Music Director to conduct, a place to rehearse and perform, technical support for the performance, soloists to work with, and punctual payment for all. He oversees all day-to-day operations of the Symphony, including finance, marketing, and education programs.
Devan joined the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra in September 2017. A professional violist, she holds a bachelor and master’s degree in music performance from James Madison University and Bowling Green State University respectively, and a master’s degree in Arts Management from George Mason University. Devan oversees the Symphony’s day-to-day development and finance needs, manages special events, and supports the Symphony’s electronic communications. Contact Devan
Manager of Box Office and Marketing
Emily joined the Symphony staff in July, 2018. She is a graduate of Salisbury University with a bachelor’s degree in musical theater. She runs the box office and executes the Symphony’s marketing plans.
