The Friends of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (FASO) is a dynamic group of music lovers whose primary goal is to raise funds to support the music education programs of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to raising funds for the Symphony’s programs, FASO members regularly volunteer their time and energy at major Symphony events, musician auditions, provide hospitality for guest artists, and elevate the Symphony’s standing in the Annapolis community.

What events does FASO host during the year?
FASO hosts a number of events during the year. They include, but are not limited to:
- Movie Nights, with a focus on music
- Dine to Donate events at local Annapolis restaurants
- An Annual Membership Appreciation Event
- Music & Poetry
- Italian Night
- Champagne Sunday
- Concert of Tastes
- Musical Tours around the World
All proceeds from FASO hosted events directly benefit the education programs of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra
How do I become a member?
To become a member of FASO, click here.
Membership is $75 for a couple, $50 for an individual.
The membership year is from June 1 to May 31. If you become a member between April and June 1, you will be considered an active member of FASO for the following year.
How can I get updates on FASO activities and fundraising?
Once every quarter, members of the FASO Board compile the Quarter Notes newsletter for FASO members. If you are an active member, you will receive a hard copy in the mail.
Dine to Donate at Luna Blu

The Friends of the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra invite you to participate in a curbside Dine to Donate event with Luna Blu featuring Gary Diamond from Empson Wines on Sunday, May 23.
Enjoy a fabulous three-course dinner with two bottles of wine to be picked up at the restaurant and savored at home. There will also be a raffle to win bottles of wine, and tickets are $5 each.
Food pick-up will be between 4 and 5 PM in the Visitors Center parking area off Northwest St behind Luna Blu.

What is the cost?
$140 for two meals.
$80 for one meal.
What does the Dine to Donate event include?
You will receive 4 courses from Luna Blu with two 750 ml bottles of wine, and $20 from each meal will be donated to FASO!
What is the menu?
Mozzarella Caprese (GF) (Vegetarian)
Fresh mozzarella with heirloom cherry tomatoes and a balsamic glaze
Blackened Shrimp & Scallops (GF)
Over creamy polenta with a roasted red pepper puree
Vegetarian: we will substitute an antipasto plate with grilled zucchini, steamed artichokes, campania peppers, and imported Italian cheese
Wine Pairing for First and Second Course: Villa Solais Vermentino
Boneless Beef Short Ribs (GF)
Slow-cooked and served over a porcini mushroom risotto
Vegetarian: Porcini mushroom risotto
Chocolate Mousse (GF)
With fresh berries
Wine Pairing Third and Fourth Course: Monte Antico Toscana
Can I substitute different meals for any of the courses?
No. There are no substitutions offered with this Dine to Donate event.
