April Studeny

Cello

What city are you living in now? Towson, MD

Where did you study? University of Michigan

What is your favorite piece of music? It’s hard to pick just one, but I love piano concertos: Ravel, Rachmaninoff, or the Brahms 2nd piano concerto with the lovely cello solo in the 2nd movement.

What do you enjoy in your spare time? Traveling, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

What is your fondest Annapolis Symphony memory? I love having the chance to meet our patrons after the concerts and hear their impressions of the music we play. It is rewarding to know how much our community appreciates the orchestra.
