ASO Presents Masterworks II: A Taste of Spain
The ASO brings the legendary Spanish guitarist Pepe Romero to Annapolis for a performance of Joaquín Rodrigo’s Fantasia para un Gentilhombre. Other pieces include Rossini’s Overture to Barber of Seville, Silvestre Revueltas’ Homenaje a Federico García Lorca, and Ravel’s Ma mère l’Oye.
ASO Presents Masterworks I: Music to Remember
The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra opens Season 62 on Friday, September 29th and Saturday, September 30th at Maryland Hall in Annapolis, Maryland, featuring the work from Carlos Simon, Grieg’s Piano Concerto, and the United States Première of Boris Pigovat’s “Holocaust Requiem”. Guest artists are Gabriela Montero, solo pianist, and Peter Minkler, solo violist.
