COVID-19 Safety Policy

[UPDATE – September 1, 2022]

COVID-19 Updated Patron Policy

VACCINATION ENCOURAGED. Starting September 1, 2022, patrons will no longer be asked to show proof of vaccination to attend Annapolis Symphony Orchestra concerts. We encourage everyone to stay up-to-date on their COVID vaccinations and boosters to help protect themselves against serious illness, hospitalization, and death.

MASKS ENCOURAGED. We strongly encourage all patrons to wear a mask inside the theatre. By wearing a mask, you will help to keep our musicians and vulnerable patrons as safe as possible.

Masks will not be required for any events taking place outdoors.

Our COVID-19 Task Force will continue to monitor the state of the pandemic and are prepared to relax measures only when advisable in the interests of keeping our musicians, staff and patrons safe and healthy for however long this situation continues. Stay up to date on our COVID-19 status on this page.

Since the pandemic began in early 2020, the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra has successfully and consistently taken steps to ensure health and safety. As we enter into our 61st season we will continue to do so. All ASO staff and musicians are fully vaccinated. The ASO will continue to strongly encourage all audience members to wear masks for all our indoor concerts until further notice.

The health and safety of our family of musicians, staff, board, and audience is our highest priority. We want everyone to feel comfortable attending our performances.

Some reminders on how you can help:

  • Please do not attend an event if you are feeling unwell, have a temperature, or have been knowingly exposed to COVID-19.
  • Please bring and wear a mask; face coverings are strongly encouraged to be worn inside the theatre at all times.
  • Please do your best to social distance from others when possible.

Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding in following our COVID-19 Safety Protocols, as your safety and comfort are our #1 priority. If you have any questions regarding any of this information please email us or give us a call at 410-263-0907.
