Traffic
These concerts occur on the same weekend as the Boat Show and a USNA Football game. We recommend planning to leave earlier rather than later if you might be impacted by traffic.
Reminder! Maryland Hall is under construction
Please note that the south end of Maryland Hall is closed during construction, on both the east and west sides. If you park in the Bates Middle School parking lot, please be prepared to enter through the Main Front door or the North (Caraway Lane) entrance.
Where is Maryland Hall?
Maryland Hall is located in the Downtown Annapolis Arts District off Spa Road, near West Street in Annapolis. Find directions, including driving directions, by clicking here.
Where can I park?
There is free parking at Maryland Hall on all sides of the building, except for Lot D, which is closed because of Maryland Hall construction. Please arrive early if you need to park close to the venue. Overflow parking is located at neighboring Bates Middle School. Additional paid parking is available within walking distance at the Park Place Garage at the Westin Annapolis. [One Park Place, Annapolis, MD 21401] and at the West Garrett Parking Garage located at [4 Amos Garrett Blvd, Annapolis, 21401.]
Is Maryland Hall accessible?
Maryland Hall is handicap accessible. Designated accessible parking spaces are in Lot C and Lot D behind the building. Near each lot is an adjacent ramp that leads to 3 entrances with automatic doors to the first floor; the North entrance on the side of the building that faces Carraway Lane and 2 entrances in the back of the building. Lot C is closest to the elevator which is located on the first floor just inside the building at the North entrance (facing Carraway Lane).
Please do not park in the two small parking lots adjacent to the town homes on Carraway Lane; the town homes enforce towing in those lots for non-resident cars.
PERFORMANCE DETAILS
When can I arrive?
- The ASO Box Office opens at 6:00 PM. The ASO offices are CLOSED during construction; therefore, will call is located in Maryland Hall Guest Services near the elevators during construction.
- The Main Auditorium opens at 6:00 PM.
- The free Pre-Concert Lecture begins at 6:30 PM.
- The concert begins promptly at 7:30 PM.
What if I’m late?
Performances begin promptly. Once the concert begins, you may be asked to wait in the lobby until an usher can seat you in the least disruptive manner possible.
How long is the show?
The performance runs for approximately 125 minutes, including a 20 minute intermission.
Box Office
The ASO offices are CLOSED while Maryland Hall is under construction. Our Box Office will be located at Maryland Hall’s Guest Services, which is on the north side 2nd floor near the elevators.
Crescendo Club
Crescendo Club, a post-performance fellowship opportunity, will be held in the Earl Gallery while Maryland Hall is under construction.
