Jonathon dives deep into each piece in the concert repertoire, discussing history, culture, art, science, music trends, arcane facts and interesting anecdotes you won’t learn anywhere else.
The lectures provide useful insight into the composers and the music itself, which will elevate the concert experience for every patron. Join fellow music lovers for this free event before each Signature Series concert at Maryland Hall. Please note that Jonathan’s pre concert lectures are hosted only prior to Signature Series concerts at Maryland Hall.
Ticket holders can attend the pre-concert lecture in the Maryland Hall Main Auditorium at 6:30 PM. Reservations are not required and the event is free for ticketholders; however, tickets to the concert must be scanned for entry. Seating is open.
