Where did you study? I received my BM at Seoul National University and master’s and doctoral degrees at Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University.

What is your favorite piece of music? It’s hard to choose one favorite piece, but it will be Beethoven’s last 9th symphony.

What do you enjoy in your spare time? I enjoy baking with new recipes. Cream puffs and pecan pie were a big hit amongst my family and friends recently.

What is your fondest Annapolis Symphony memory? During my very first concert in 2008, it was an unforgettable night to see the smiles and happiness on audiences’ faces at the concert. It felt great to be a musician and be able to share my passion and love for music with my colleagues at the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra.
