PROGRAM CHANGE
Annapolis Symphony Orchestra Announces
Change to November 6 & 7, 2026 Concerts
September 4, 2026
The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra (ASO) and violinist Vadim Repin have come to a mutual decision not to proceed with their planned collaboration in the performance of Shostakovich’s Violin Concerto No. 1, November 6 and 7, 2026 at Maryland Hall.
The ASO and Mr. Repin have concluded that the current environment is not conducive to a successful collaboration, nor in the interests of ASO patrons whose unhindered enjoyment of live music is the highest priority.
Both the ASO and Vadim Repin share the desire for an end to the ongoing war that has caused immeasurable suffering and devastation. They further express their hope that a future artistic collaboration may prove possible.
The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra will soon announce the program changes for the November 6 and 7 concerts, which will not require patrons who have already purchased tickets to make any changes at the box office. All tickets to these performances will be honored. Patrons wishing to exchange their tickets for another ASO performance will be accommodated. Questions about ticketing should be directed to info@annapolissymphony.org.
All inquiries should be directed to Diana Love at dlove@annapolissymphony.org.
