The Annapolis Symphony Orchestra is deeply fortunate to have been supported by the Annapolis region for nearly 60 years.
The Campaign for the ASO, Sounds of Impact, is the fundraising program to manifest the ASO’s 5-year strategic plan to bring more music to more people in more places. Your support along with that of your friends and neighbors will ensure that music remains a living, breathing complement to our rich civic life in Maryland.
Sounds of Impact – The Campaign for the ASO
Is a “Family of Impact Funds” that encompasses opportunities for donors to create positive impact in the community through the Annapolis Symphony’s Education, Artistic and Innovation programs in the next five years.
Our Goals (and Dreams) for this campaign are:
- To make ASO concerts ACCESSIBLE to ANYONE through live and digital performances.
- To expand MUSIC EDUCATION opportunities for CHILDREN through in-person and digital programs.
- To use TECHNOLOGY to create AWESOME musical experiences for our audiences.
With your support the ASO is able to offer 10% of its available seats FREE to people who can’t afford to pay for a ticket. Anyone who’d like to experiance a live or digital concert now has the opportunity to do so.
The Education Fund – Make an immediate impact in a child’s life by supporting this fund. Your gift will support high level music education for kids who can’t afford music lessons at our Annapolis Symphony Academy. What a difference OPPORTUNITY makes! ASO’s education programs touch the lives of people from ages 4 to forever.
The Artistic Fund – By supporting this fund you contribute directly to the wellbeing of ASO musicians, pillars of our community. From the traditional Masterworks programs to regular radio broadcasts to free concerts outdoors, the Artistic Fund brings more music to more places for more people.
The Innovation Fund – Support the use of technology and exciting new possibilities, from digital concerts to ASO Chats to bringing music to retirement homes via streaming.
