Karen Lee is joining the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra in January of 2022. Previously, Karen was Librarian Assistant at The Florida Orchestra for the 2020-21 season after serving as a librarian at the Frost School of Music for two years. Karen has interned with the Hill Country Youth Orchestras and volunteered and worked in various orchestra libraries across the United States. In addition to working for ASO, Karen is also Assistant Librarian at the National Symphony Orchestra.
Karen is from Texas and holds a Doctorate of the Musical Arts in violin performance from the University of Miami where she was Teaching Assistant to Charles Castleman. She also holds a Master of Music and Artist Diploma from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music where she was a Graduate Assistant and a Bachelor of Arts degree concentrating in Music and Psychology from Bard College at Simon’s Rock where she was a Hutchins Scholar.
