On Saturday, May 12 at 2:00pm, the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra performs this year’s Family concert, “Peter and the Wolf” with Magic Circle Mime Co., under the musical direction of José-Luis Novo, at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. Directly following the concert, the audience is invited to stay and meet the musicians.

Cellist Julian Schwarz Premieres New Concerto with Annapolis Symphony
Award-winning cellist Julian Schwarz joins the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra for the fourth Masterworks concert of the season. This is Schwarz’s first Annapolis appearance and he will premiere a new work, Lowell Liebermann’s Concerto for Cello, co-commissioned by the Annapolis Symphony and written specifically for Schwarz.
