ASO Musician Sponsorships

When you sponsor an ASO Musician, you have the opportunity to establish a personal connection with the orchestra. Sponsors see first-hand the dedication, passion, and skill our musicians bring to each ASO performance. Check out our Musician Sponsorship Brochure to learn more.

Every year, the ASO hires more than 70 performers for our season, including 54 tenured musicians. Last year, our musicians performed 68 live performances, attended by more than 27,000 people of all ages.

ASO musicians reach our community through free concerts. They made music accessible at free community concerts, including at local parks, schools, and medical centers, for over 10,000 listeners.

ASO musicians provide hope in hospitals and healthcare. They performed 24 concerts at hospitals to honor front-line workers, at behavioral health centers to bring music to those afflicted with addiction and mental health issues, and at assisted living centers, giving joy to those no longer able to attend concerts in person.

ASO musicians make a big impact in kids’ lives. Over 2,600 students discovered the joy of music through school visits and live concerts. One of every four kids was from a Title I school. We also partner with organizations like the Banneker Douglass Museum, The Salvation Army, and the Marshall Hope Learning Center to provide musical enrichment to students in under-resourced neighborhoods.

ASO musicians mentor the next generation with the Annapolis Symphony Academy. Many of our musicians work with the Annapolis Symphony Academy. Over 400 students have enrolled in the Academy since it was established in 2018, receiving over 6,550 lessons.
